Too many questions but one single answer.

This poem was contributed by Anushka. I extend my heartfelt thanks to her for sharing her work with us.

Author’s note:

Since National Science Day is round the corner , hereby I am releasing my poem on the same. I had written this poem when I was quite small . It expresses my curiosity as a child . Every child has curiosity and hence many interesting questions are raised but unfortunately to every question we are beem given the same boring answer which is : ‘It is magic, miracle’ and no one explains the exact scientifical reason behind it. So let’s try to understand the science behind it! This science day visit your nearby science exhibitions and fall in love with science !!

Poem:

So many questions and one enough answer!!

Tell me, tell me somebody,

Hey you or that buddy,

Why doesn’t talk my Tom teddy?

When colours were given was the water absent?

In the universe, how many galaxies are present?

Tell me, tell me hey you,

Or else give me a clue,

Why is the sky so blue?

Everyday who eats the moon?

Why does the Sun disappear in winter soon?

Please tell me, tell me hey dear,

I’m keeping open my ear,

Why does banyan tree has a scary hair?

Is the only living world on planet Earth?

Why can’t we have a second birth?

Tell me,tell me oh! bro my,

To my question give reply,

Why can’t we jump till the sky?

Is there any living thing in the world who never die?

How does the brain store info read through eye?

The answer to everything is just one reason,

To all rituals and nonsense things it is a prison.

It is not one who blather,

It is one through which first evidence is gathered.

It is one who specifies us with proof,

It is none other than SCIENCE who is all questions roof!

-Anushka.
